Individual workers and farmers, or their representatives, can appeal initial rulings by the Department of Labor or the Department of Agriculture to the Court of International Trade, a US Federal court in New York City. The TAA Legal Appeals Center advises individuals or groups appealing their initial rulings. In addition, the Center identifies attorneys willing to represent workers and farmers in their appeals before the Court of International Trade. Lawyers referred by the TAA Coalition's Legal Appeals Center can also help workers and farmers prepare their initial petitions for TAA eligibilty.

Inquiries regarding the TAA Legal Appeals Center and possible legal representation can be made by telephone or e-mail. Telephone inquiries should be made to Page Hall at (202) 265-8555. E-mail inquiries should be made to TAA Legal Appeals Center.

The TAA Legal Appeals Center and the volunteer attorneys are not associated with the US Department of Labor or the US Department of Agriculture.
